JACK EVANS
Position: Director, Chairman of Audit Committee

Jack Evans brings to the board over 30 years in financing which includes preperation of estimates and accurals for statements, preparing statements for internal control,and as an auditor preparing statements for small businesses with sales up to 25 MM. He served many years as an officer of many types of companies particulary real estate. Mr. Evans served as a tax manager of a publically traded integrated oil company. He served many times as a director, officer, and audit committee chair of several different types of non-profit organizations.

Mr. Evans received his BA degree from the University of Houston in accounting finance. In 1983 he formed his own private accounting practice and is licensed by the State of Texas as a Certified Public Accountant.

 
DAVID STEWARD
Position: Director, Board Chairman

Mr. Steward has been an active player in the oil and gas industry for close to 40 years. He is the founder and former president of Horseshoe Energy, Inc., which remains active in numerous exploration ventures, and he is a partner in Steward Oil & Gas, LLC, a family business he owns with his two brothers. A third generation oil and gas man, Steward is currently involved in the exploration and development of hydrocarbon resources throughout Texas, in particular South Texas,West Texas,the Gulf Coast and East Texas with ownership in over 150 wells. He has been successfully identifying, exploring and developing oil and gas opportunities for decades and has partnered with numerous large and small companies including Anadarko Petroleum, Amoco, Chesapeake Natural Gas, Texaco, Hunt Petroleum, Marathon Oil Company, XTO Energy, Inc., EL Paso, Encana and the legendary Texas businessman Billy Joe "Red" McCombs (McCombs Energy) to name a few.

Steward is a Certified Professional Landman and an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen. Mr. Steward received a BBA degree from Texas A&I University. Steward has also been active as past Director with Ducks Unlimited, Gulf Coast Conservation Association, and numerous local and national organizations and is a current member and Pilot with the Civil Air Patrol.

 
ALLEN MCGEE
Position: Director

Allen McGee has been responsible for a wide range of activities, including financial planning, accounting, contract administration and compliance, insurance, bonds, audits, and supervision of contractors.

Mr. McGee began his career with Arthur Andersen in 1971. He accepted a position at Gulf Oil Corporation and ultimately became the Director of Financial Accounting for Gulf Oil Refining and Marketing. He then served for two years as CFO for a small Exploration & Production company, Pexco USA. In addition to managing the internal affairs of Pexco, he handled the partnership reporting associated with a $25MM limited partnership fund raised by E.F.Hutton for use by the company for exploration purposes. From 1984 to 1987, Mr. McGee served as the Controller for Williams Exploration Company and in 1987, he formed his own private accounting practice that specialized in tax and financial accounting for privately held firms, principally oil and gas companies and family estates with major holdings in oil and gas companies and real estate.

Mr. McGee received his BBA from Baylor University and is licensed by the State of Texas as a Certified Public Accountant.

 
MIKE STUDDARD
Position: Director

Mike Studdard is a member of American Association of Professional Landmen and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. He is an independent landman, founding Michael S. Studdard and Associates a company specializing in seismic permitting and exploration ventures. Mr. Studdard founded Signature Geophysical where he was responsible for hiring and supervising landmen, field crews, sales and marketing. From 1989-1992 he was Regional Director of Sales for GFS Company where he was responsible for coordinating and managing sales and marketing activities and developing relationships with oil and gas companies including Mobil, Texaco, Exxon and Chevron in addition to independent exploration companies. From 1986 to 1992 he was employed by TGC Industries as National Sales Director where he increased sales from $6M to $18M within first 2 years. From 1976-1986 he was co-owner of Ward Exploration where he was Manager of Public Relations and Sales responsible for personnel and budgets as well as manager of filed crew operations. Prior to Ward Exploration, Mr. Studdard served in various capacities with SPS Services, Inc.
